Briefing & challenge:
For the Olympic winter games in 2018 Sneeuwsport Vlaanderen wants to organize a Fan Village to support their participating Athletes.
INTO Sport accepts the challenges and goes looking for partnerships.
Aspen – indoor Ski Slope, Sport Vlaanderen – City of Antwerp and the Belgian Olympic Committee are aligned for a unique cooperation : Korea House 2018.
A unique pop up Winter sport Activation village was put up during the winter holidays. All participation winter sport – federations were involved and were presented a sport activation canvas for all sports.
A pop-up Skating-slope / Duathlon Track / Ice Hockey Pick / Riglet Park for snowboard kids / trampolines / human Curling / and more, were the ingredients. A winter bar – beautiful event scene & the proper event branding & lightning made the event complete.
The live feed in cooperation with EUROSPORT – owner of the broadcast license – was transmitted on XXL screens on site and took the Olympics home to Belgium. Direct feeds between fans & athletes got a great support!
Extra communities were engaged through extra events : Like a cooperation with the university of Antwerp, an urban jam session with Skate & breakdance demo’s and initiations.
